The beautiful beaches of Medulin turn it into one of the most popular tourist resorts in Istria. Especially famous in Medulin is the Plaza Bijeca, a popular long sandy beach, where also the tourist center is located. Bijeca beach Medulin
The most famous beach in Medulin is certainly Bijeca located in the very town of Medulin. The sandy beach spreads more than 1 km along the coast and has a mild and gradual sea entrance. All this together with a variety of additional facilities makes Bijeca beach the ideal place to spend the entire day, offering a peaceful and relaxing surrounding, but also great fun for the whole family

This is the Medulin beach the locals love the most. It is characterised by rocky coast, ideal for sunbathing, and the crystal clear sea with gravelly seabed, ideal for various games in the shallow waters attracting both children and grown ups.

Debeljak beach Kamenjak
World-Debeljak beach is located in Debeljak cove on the east side of the peninsula Cape Kamenjak. The central part of the beach is covered with gravel and pebbles. The sides of the beaches are rocky and flat. The sandy bottom in Debeljak cove on Cape Kamenjak provides safe anchoring. Anchor can be dropped at about 4 metres. In peak season, it can get crowded with swimmers who come to the beach by road. Access to the coast is very mild, suitable for families with children. The Debeljak beach is one of the most popular beaches of Cape Kamenjak, that is visited mostly by younger population playing the famous water game called “Picigin”. In the central part of the beach there is beach bar offering refreshing drinks and food. Debeljak is also known as a sandy beach but we must say that the sand is only in the sea – not on the beach.

Velika Kolumbarica beach Kamenjak
Velika Kolombarica beach is located in Velika Kolombarica cove, on the southernmost tip of Cape Kamenjak. Velika Kolombarica beach is rocky with high cliffs which are suitable for jumping in the water. Entrance is more suitable for younger rather than the older people. The beach is also known for Velika Kolombarica cave which you can explore, dive and take a submarine photo-shoot. If you are lucky enough, you can find a Mediterranean monk seal inside the cave. Near by the beach there is a legendary Safari bar which offers meals and drinks.

Pinižule beach Kamenjak
Pinižule beach is located in the cove of the same name on the western side of Cape Kamenjak. The central part of the beach is covered with gravel and pebbles. The sides of the beaches are rocky and flat. Entrance is very soft, suitable for families with kids. Penižule beach is one of the most popular beaches on Cape Kamenjak, especially among younger population. Above the beach there is beach bar which offers drinks and food. In the forest above the beach there is a training ground in the shade of the pine trees with the seaview. The training ground is situated just 70 meters away from the beach. The educational and recreational trail “Following the Dinosaur Path on Kamenjak” is located on the right side of the Penižule cove, only 50 meters from the entrance. In the vicinity of the beach there is a parking spot for Your vehicles.

Šćuza beach Pomer
Enjoying the sun, along with the fun and games on land and in the water. This pebble beach located near Pomer offers a simple formula for a perfect vacation. The Šćuza Beach is a destination for swimmers of all ages. In addition to the crystal clear sea and a unique view of the bay, here you can find sun beds and umbrellas, various equipment for water sports, as well as refreshment at the nearby beach bar.

Kuja bay beach Ližnjan
Situated in the bay of Kuja, the Liznjan beach is sheltered from the strong waves of the open sea. The water surface is calm and suitable for all bathers. The sea is clean, pleasantly warm and beautiful in color. The beach is concreted and covered with stone on the main part. Here you can rent sun umbrellas and enjoy the shade in the summer sun. In addition, it is possible to rent pedal boats and go along the coast, and those who do not want to sit in the nearby bar and watch the coast with a refreshing drink.
